Technology Process
From detection to update, CyberDefender can inoculate against viruses in approximately an hour, compared with other Internet security software providers who take up to 12 hours.

How Our Anti-Virus and Spyware and Protection Products Works

  • Every PC in the CyberDefender earlyNETWORK monitors itself and the Internet to ensure the widest possible coverage against new threats.
  • If any machine intercepts an unknown threat it instantly alerts CyberDefender's Early Alert Center, which ranks new threats against the Universal Severity Scale and automatically generates definition and signature files.
  • The CyberDefender Alert Server then relays the new defenses over a secure high-speed client-to-client network, starting with the original reporting machine. Each relaying computer uses local bandwidth to virtually eliminate the need for central network resources, allowing updates to be released immediately instead of during scheduled intervals.
