SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM AT CYBERDEFENDER

Gary Guseinov - Chief Executive Officer


A seasoned technology-marketing executive, Guseinov founded web development and ecommerce firm Digital Media in 1994, where he served as the chief executive officer. When Digital Media merged with Synergy, Guseinov served as the president and chief technology officer. During his tenure at Synergy he generated over $2 billion in revenues for its clients including GoToMyPC/Citrix, Oracle, Chase, Nortel, HP and Conseco. He holds a BS in Psychology and Business from Cal State Northridge.

Bing Liu - Chief Software Architect


A leader in emerging technology development, Liu is responsible for CyberDefender's product technologies, architecture and standards. Liu was the creator of award-winning products FirstAID and GuardDog, software utilities for PCs, which were acquired by McAfee for over $200 million. He holds five different software patents in the United States, and formerly served as the senior software architect for CyberMedia, Inc. Liu holds Masters and Bachelors Degrees in Computer Science from Tsinghua University, Beijing China.

Ivan Ivankovich - Chief Financial Officer


Prior to CyberDefender, Ivankovich was managing director of VisionPoint Capital. While acting as chief financial officer of YellowPages.com, he negotiated the merger of the company into a group led by SBC and Bell South. He also served as a senior financial executive for two venture-backed companies, HealthAllies and Trivida Corporation, which was acquired by Befree Inc. (now part of ValueClick (Nasdaq:VCLK) at a valuation of $175M. A Certified Public Accountant and a member of the California Society of CPAs, Invankovich earned his B.A. in Business Economics with an emphasis in accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Patrick Hinojosa - Chief Technology Officer


Prior to joining CyberDefender Hinojosa assisted in growing Panda Software U.S. from a relatively unknown entity to an established market player. A notable security software industry expert, Hinojosa served as general manager and then as chief technology officer managing Panda's US response to worldwide virus attacks such as Sasser and SoBig. As a respected spokesperson for computer security, he is a fixture on CNBC and other news channels.

Igor Barash - Chief Information Officer


Barash co-founded CyberDefender Corporation with Chief Executive Officer Gary Guseinov in 2003. An expert in Internet hosting technologies and infrastructure implementation and design, Barash developed and grew the Internet hosting infrastructure for HostPro Internet Services, one of the largest Internet Service Providers in the world. He was pivotal in the firm's acquisition by Micron and after managing the integration of the two firms, he provided due diligence of three subsequent acquisitions.

Alan Wallace - Senior Vice President Corporate Communications


Wallace is a public relations visionary with specialized expertise in hi-tech, entertainment and consumer products. While at Panda Software U.S., he helped quadruple market share in the U.S. Prior to this, he executed successful media exposure strategies for the Live365 Internet Radio network. In 1995 Wallace co-founded InterActive Agency (iAgency), the Internet's first pure-play marketing PR and advertising agency.

Mark DuVall - Vice President Engineering


DuVall has managed software development teams for more than 20 years. Most recently, he headed enterprise software development for Kofax. Earlier, he was chief technology officer at Hiwire Inc., a venture-backed startup providing advertising for Internet streaming. DuVall has also held positions at Quarterdeck, Symantec, Xerox and TRW. He received a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics at California State University-Dominguez Hills.

Viviana Rueda - Vice President Marketing


For more than 15 years Rueda has executed marketing, sales and business development strategies for technology and professional services firms. Prior to joining CyberDefender, she ran marketing and public relations for the western region of global real estate advisory firm, Studley, Inc. Rueda's diverse experience includes tenures with technology-centric firms including boutique investment bank NetCatalyst, and services providers ONE, Inc. and Raymond James Consulting.
