In memoriam of CNET Senior Editor James Kim, who died tragically in December, CyberDefender Corporation has donated $5,000 to the James Kim Memorial Fund.
Fortunately, I had the pleasure of knowing and working with James Kim during his tenure at TechTV prior to his joining CNET, and was shocked and deeply saddened by the news of his passing. In response to this tragic event, our CEO, Gary Guseinov, generously agreed to make a donation to support the family.

RSA Conference Booth #650 - San Francisco - February 7, 2007 - Security software developer CyberDefender Corporation (www.cyberdefender.com) announced today that it will donate $5,000 to the James Kim Memorial Fund. The contribution concludes the companys fund-raising program which was launched in early January.
The program was established by CyberDefender to honor CNET Senior Editor James Kim, who died in the rugged wilderness of Oregon while trying to save his family this past December. CyberDefender hopes the money raised will help accomplish Kims most important mission, taking care of his wife Kati Kim, and the couple's two daughters, Penelope, four, and Sabine, seven months. "We are proud to have sponsored this initiative," said Gary Guseinov, chief executive officer, CyberDefender Corp. "Mr. Kims undeniable dedication to the safety and well being of his family is commendable. Helping his wife Kati Kim in caring for their two daughters was a natural fit for us."
CyberDefender Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications Alan Wallace is a close friend of the Kim family.
