The Network - The CyberDefender earlyNETWORK™
The patent-pending CyberDefender earlyNETWORK is the first-ever Collaborative Internet Security Network, distributing information securely and exponentially to clients using a high-speed client-to-client network.

The Problem with Traditional Internet Security Software Broadcasting Methods

Conventional Internet security software systems broadcast updates to each individual client on the network. There are serious drawbacks to this method:

1. Instead of updating in real time, this cumbersome method relies on batches that must be timed days apart as attacks are spreading, and they must repeat this process for each of their many products.
2. Because they are a single point of distribution, broadcasting servers are vulnerable to "flooding" attacks that prevent clients from getting vital updates to protect themselves effectively from virus and spyware infections.
3. An attack can block a client PC's access to the broadcast server, disabling its ability to download an update for the threat.

Distributed and Controlled Protection

CyberDefender's Alert Server is a required checkpoint for all client activities, thus assuring the integrity of the network. The controlled publishing network leverages the power of distributed bandwidth to allow a continuous real-time release of Internet security updates for faster protection against various forms of malware, spyware, viruses, adware, phishing and other harmful Internet security threats.
